Entry 4-Plan 9 from Outer Space

”Only because it's so awful, it's good”. That is one of the comment for Plan 9 from Outer Space movie which was published in year 1959 that I have read in the rottentomatoes.com. The movie was categorized as science fiction/horror film genre. It was directed by Edward D. Wood Jr. and starring by Gregory Walcott, Mona McKinnon, Tom Keene, Tor Johnson, Dudley Manlove, Joanna Lee, John Breckinridge, Vampira, and Bela Lugosi. What is so awful? And what is the good one? So, this time I have given a task to comments on the Plan 9 from Outer Space.

First things first, most of the commenter’s from the rottentomatoes.com seems extremely detestation the movie because of its illogical story board but some quite love the story like the commenter I quote earlier. Well, looks like everybody has its own opinions and reasons why they like or dislikes the movie. In my point of view, I love the message that the story gave me and thought me in the way that I have never thought before. Overall, the movie thought me to be aware of my surrounding and behave I mean in term to save the earth from damage. One of the actor in the movie (I forgot the name already) said that human activities will harm the whole universe. At this particular time, human is critically wounding the mother earth such as illegal activities of human. For instance, wrestle against each other to construct skyscrapers. Well that is the good one from my point of view.

The awful one is the film editing. The proficiency of the editor is not enough to produce film for public watch. Well, it is just a comment from me as a public and the viewers of the story (me myself does not know how to edit the movie). To be honest, the satisfaction as the audience is not there. The editor should improve more to make sure that the editing work is excellent.

However, great job and credit to this movie. I will rate for three stars!
