Entry 6-Simile and Metaphor

As for this time, I was asked to write as many as i want about the simile and metaphor as to indicate that I understand the topic thought by the lecturer. For the first time I was confused to differentiate between simile and metaphor even I have done this in my school days. Madam Choong Lai Guan (my former English teacher), I am sorry. Well, as to make sure that I get what my lecturer said in the class, I have decided to talk about my little sister using those simile and metaphor. Sounds interesting? Let's take a look!

NUR SYAHIRAH BINTI SHALLAHUDDIN

  • as sweet as honey
  • as cute as a cupcake
  • as clever as a fox
  • as childish as she supposed to be
METAPHOR
·         she is a flower in the meadows
·         she is the apple of my family’s eye
